Good to know
How often should I clean my heat pump?
Most homes benefit from a deep clean once a year. Homes with pets, heavy use, or allergy concerns often do best with a cleaning every 6–9 months.
How long does it take?
A standard single-unit cleaning typically takes under an hour. Homes with multiple indoor units take a bit longer, and we'll give you a time estimate when you book.
Do I need to be home?
Yes, we ask that someone be home (or have provided access) so we can safely reach both the indoor and outdoor units and walk you through what we found.
Will this eliminate odors?
Musty or stale odors are almost always caused by mold, dust, or buildup inside the unit — removing that buildup during a deep clean typically resolves the smell.
Is this different than cleaning the filters?
Yes. Filter cleaning alone doesn't reach the blower wheel, evaporator coil, or drain pan — the parts most responsible for poor airflow, odors, and reduced efficiency. Our deep clean covers all of it.
